Consumer Banking Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Consumer Banking Business Development Manager to drive growth and enhance customer experience across our retail banking portfolio in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and develop customer engagement strategies to identify growth opportunities across local and cross‑border banking segments.
• Drive business growth through strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns and ecosystem partnerships.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to expand customer acquisition channels and enhance the Bank’s value proposition.
• Plan and execute customer engagement programmes to strengthen relationships, improve experience and increase product adoption.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer journeys, service propositions and digital engagement across key segments.
• Collaborate with branches, product, operations and external partners to deliver customer‑centric initiatives and strategic projects.
• Monitor market trends, customer insights and business performance, and recommend strategies to drive growth and service excellence.
• Prepare business reports, management presentations and performance analysis to support planning and decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while achieving departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized university.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in financial services, business analysis, product development or financial management.
• Strong relationship‑building and interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable initiatives.
• Proven ability to meet timelines, prioritize business needs and manage multiple projects.
• Ownership of results and commitment to goals; highly independent and self‑motivated.
