About the role

Join Marriott International as a Cook I at our flagship property on Orchard Road. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes while adhering to Marriott’s strict standards for food safety, presentation, and sanitation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food in line with Marriott recipes, quality and presentation standards.
• Complete daily fridge temperature and hot‑food cooling charts at the end of each shift.
• Identify, cover, date and chill all refrigerated items promptly.
• Follow the “Clean as you go” policy and perform daily sanitation tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping in walk‑in coolers, freezers and dry‑goods storerooms.
• Report maintenance needs to the Sous Chef and attend associate meetings.
• Ensure attractive food displays and comply with accident‑prevention policies.
• Lead the team in the absence of senior staff and perform any other assigned duties.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience (advantageous).
• Strong initiative and ability to follow sanitation and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to carry out reasonable management requests and work collaboratively.
