About the role

Shangri-La Singapore is seeking a Cook I or II to join the Waterfall restaurant team. The role focuses on preparing authentic Italian dishes in a vibrant, high‑standard kitchen environment while upholding the hotel’s commitment to hospitality excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking Italian dishes according to restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the workstation throughout the shift.
• Ensure freshness of ingredients, proper storage, and adherence to food safety protocols.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high‑quality meals during service.

Required profile

• Basic culinary training or relevant experience in Italian cuisine.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow instructions.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
