Cook / Kitchen Assistant – Outram Park

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join our Outram Park kitchen. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced food service environment and a clear pathway for career development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the kitchen team with food preparation, ingredient handling and basic cooking tasks following recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, utensils, equipment and preparation areas.
• Support daily operations such as ingredient replenishment, dishwashing and other assigned duties.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, catering or food preparation environment is an advantage.
• Ability to follow recipes and hygiene instructions accurately.
• Good teamwork and communication skills with a willingness to support kitchen operations.
• Willingness to work in the Outram Park area according to the assigned schedule.
