Core Account Executive – Public Sector

About the role

Databricks is seeking a Named Core Account Executive to drive growth in the public sector market in Singapore. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting new accounts to expanding existing relationships, while championing the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Evangelize Databricks' Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark and launch the brand across public sector accounts.
• Prospect, identify, and source sales opportunities, building pipeline individually and with the SDR team.
• Engage business and technical decision‑makers, guiding them through evaluation and buying processes.
• Exceed activity, pipeline, and annual revenue targets while driving upsell in existing customers.
• Collaborate with local technology partners, ISVs, SIs, and GSIs to expand reach.

Required profile

• 7+ years selling SaaS solutions to public sector or enterprise customers in Singapore.
• Proven success in enterprise sales, preferably in big data, cloud, or SaaS technology.
• Experience using solution‑focused sales methodologies such as MEDDPIC and Challenger Sale.
• Ability to articulate complex cloud and big data technologies and their business value.
• Demonstrated track record of consistent revenue growth.
