Corporate Communications Intern (APAC) - Jan-Jun 2027

About the role

GlobalFoundries is a semiconductor manufacturer and its internship programme is the entry-level talent pipeline for the company worldwide. The APAC Communication team, which handles internal and external communications for the APAC region, is looking for an intern to help develop content in a variety of formats for internal and external outreach, working closely with the APAC and global Internal Communications teams. The internship runs from January to June 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in brainstorming and planning sessions
• Draft content for social media posts (internal and external) and digital displays
• Help develop and edit communications such as talking points, presentations and intranet articles
• Help develop and produce videos about GF's manufacturing solutions and global collaboration
• Support the rollout of employee communications campaigns and provide administrative and logistical support for campaigns and events
• Support team reporting and metrics activities

Required profile

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or a related business degree, in good academic standing
• Strong written, social media and verbal communication skills, able to present to diverse, global audiences
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship
• Available for a 16-24 week credit-bearing internship starting January 2027

• Preferred: understanding of PR concepts, graphic design and/or video editing, prior internship or co-op experience, leadership experience, project management skills, and interest in using AI tools
