Corporate Counsel – Amazon Leo (APAC)

About the role

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will deliver low‑latency, high‑speed broadband to unserved and underserved communities worldwide. The legal team is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join the Amazon Leo commercial business development and sales group, focusing on strategic partnerships and enterprise customer deals across the APAC region.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with the Amazon Leo commercial business development and sales team to provide day‑to‑day legal support.
• Assist business leaders on strategic partnerships and large enterprise customer agreements, with a primary focus on APAC countries.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
• Develop creative, business‑centric strategies for handling legal issues and build processes that balance risk mitigation with operational flexibility.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required to support negotiations and stakeholder meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, including at least 2 years of transactional support.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for technology and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to make decisions that balance legal risk with business objectives.
