Crane Operator – Port Lifting Operations

About the role

Jurong Port is seeking a qualified Crane Operator to join its lifting team at the Penjuru terminal. You will work in shifts to support cargo handling operations, ensuring safe and efficient transfer of goods between shore and vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mobile or quay cranes within defined parameters and safety regulations.
• Handle cargoes efficiently while complying with all regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with lifting supervisors, crew members, boat crews, and external contractors.
• Ensure safe delivery of cargoes from shore to vessels and vice‑versa.
• Provide a professional and reliable service to port users.

Required profile

• Valid mobile crane licence (experience with quay cranes is a plus).
• Comfortable using IT‑enabled tools such as iPads or other gadgets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to adapt to a fluid, challenging environment and accept cross‑deployment across the main port and terminals.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Strong team player with experience in port operations and good communication skills.
