Creative Fragrance Developer (Personal Care)

About the role

Givaudan is looking for a Fragrance Developer to join its Singapore team, supporting Personal Care categories across Southeast Asia. The position reports to the Personal Care Category Director SEAO and works with research, creation and production units, as well as the perfumery school. The level (Evaluator, Senior Evaluator or Creative Fragrance Manager) depends on experience and seniority. It is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute fragrance development strategies and creative processes.
• Lead the olfactive vision and fragrance strategy for assigned customers and upstream category work.
• Manage complex briefs and develop or select fragrances aligned with project goals.
• Turn Consumer Market Insight data into actionable olfactory guidelines for Perfumers.
• Work with the Technology team and laboratories on stability testing and product troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with other regional creative centers and support cross-regional project teams.
• Align with commercial teams on business objectives and identify olfactive white spaces with Marketing.
• Analyse new launches to feed future fragrance development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 3 to 10 years of experience in fragrance evaluation, ideally across several categories and geographies, with strong exposure to Personal Care (shower gel, bar soap and/or hair care).
• Experience managing complex projects and working with global or regional accounts.
• Ability to translate consumer data into fragrance direction and to work in multicultural, cross-functional settings.

Required skills

• Strong olfactory expertise and functional knowledge of fragrance development processes.
• Technical knowledge of fragrance behaviour in Personal Care applications (stability, base interactions, compliance).
• Good communication and presentation skills.
