Credit Control Assistant Manager (Factory Automation)

About the role

The Credit Control Assistant Manager will lead daily Accounts Receivable activities for a factory automation business, ensuring timely invoicing, collections and accurate month‑end closing. You will work closely with sales, customers and internal teams to safeguard cash flow and minimise credit risk.

Key responsibilities

• Support invoicing, collections, receipts, reconciliations and month‑end closing.
• Monitor AR performance, control risks and guide junior staff.
• Assess customer creditworthiness, set credit limits and manage overdue accounts.
• Analyse ageing, collection trends and prepare management reports and KPI dashboards.
• Drive process improvements, automation and digitalisation of AR processes.
• Collaborate with sales and stakeholders to resolve credit and collection issues.
• Coach junior team members and support workload planning.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of AR and Credit Control experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong background in collections, ageing analysis, reconciliations and credit risk management.
• Experience analysing financial statements for credit assessments.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP (preferred).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
