Credit Control Team Lead

About the role

The Credit Control Team Lead will own the technical accounting of premiums and claims for our Singapore service operations. You will ensure accurate allocation of premium collections, maintain strong relationships with brokers, and support regional finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the technical accounting side of premiums and claims, posting ledger entries as needed.
• Allocate premium collections correctly and on time, resolve broker queries, and chase outstanding balances.
• Produce regular collection status reports and accurate monthly premium and claims reports for overseas offices.
• Collaborate with Finance to reconcile booked premiums against internal records.
• Maintain audit‑ready credit control processes with strong internal controls.
• Act as a liaison between regional offices to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Mentor and develop the credit control team, setting clear goals and conducting regular check‑ins.
• Contribute to other projects as required.

Required profile

• Background in specialty or commercial insurance is a plus.
• Familiarity with international insurance market operations is a bonus.
• Solid experience in accounts receivable/payable, bank reconciliations, and cash accounting.
• Comfortable with everyday computer tools, especially strong Excel skills.
• Exposure to standard accounting and policy administration systems is advantageous.
