Cruise HR Manager

About the role

An established organisation in the cruise retail space, which has recently won a tender, is looking for a hands-on, self-driven HR Manager in Singapore. The role covers the overall operational requirements of manpower planning and selection, training, onboarding and payroll, and sits within a performance-driven team.

Key responsibilities

• Handle manpower planning and selection, training, onboarding and payroll processes
• Work closely with other entities on talent management and rotational plans, and handle disciplinary issues
• Coordinate HR processes and work with the L&D team on training matters
• Care for staff well-being and ensure compliance with Singapore employment law and maritime law

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor in Human Resource Management or a related field
• At least 7 years of HR generalist experience, independently, preferably in the cruise, travel or retail industry
• Meticulous, independent and able to get hands-on
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills across a diverse workplace
• Minimal travel every quarter

• SAP and MS Excel are highly advantageous
