About the role
Bombardier is seeking a Customer Project Manager to act as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams for aircraft maintenance projects. You will coordinate quotes, invoices, progress updates, and warranty issues while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the main customer point‑of‑contact for communication, coordination, quotes, preliminary invoices, progress updates, approvals, and issue resolution (SAP).
- Manage multiple aircraft projects, identify risks, and handle constraints.
- Develop and maintain Gantt‑chart timelines using Pivotal throughout delivery and follow‑up.
- Monitor workflow to keep work packages on schedule, within budget, and compliant with Singapore MOE, Repair Station, and Quality Manual procedures.
- Facilitate status meetings, produce daily reports, and keep stakeholders informed.
- Support the return‑to‑service (RTS) process after maintenance.
- Prepare maintenance and employee reports as assigned.
- Review, approve, and sign final customer invoices (ZPRJ), including margin analysis and warranty negotiations.
- Conduct post‑package activities such as customer follow‑up calls and issue resolution.
- Coordinate customer entertainment during site visits.
- Achieve or exceed financial objectives for all projects.
- Lead safety and security programs, including equipment operation, 5S, housekeeping, and lean processes.
- Perform any additional ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.
Required profile
- Minimum 7 years of experience in aircraft heavy/line maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of local aviation regulations (NAA, EASA, FAA) and parts 91, 121, 135, 145.
- Familiarity with aircraft maintenance inspection programs for business‑jet aircraft.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage multiple assignments.
