Customer Service Officer - Health Insurance

About the role

An international pioneer company, a leader in developing and managing innovative health and life insurance solutions, is looking for a Client Service Officer for its International Operations division in Singapore. The division manages health care contracts for 242,000 expatriates across 198 countries and offers training on internal tools, business and industry within a friendly working environment. The main purpose of the role is to develop and maintain relationships with insured members.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and administer customer claims.
• Liaise with insurance companies, clients and service providers by telephone and email.
• Coordinate the direct billing process with international providers.
• Handle a portfolio of clients who are expatriates stationed worldwide.
• Regulate health care costs for policyholders and third parties.
• Process e-claims and handle invoicing.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the insurance or medical sector is an asset; experience in an international environment is also valued.
• Experience in a customer service environment is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English.
• Positive, proactive, resourceful and detail-oriented, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
