Customer Service Technician

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions for semiconductor and display manufacturing. The Customer Service Technician will work on the shop floor in Woodlands, Singapore, supporting cutting‑edge equipment and delivering high‑quality service to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standard Tier I procedures including wafer measurement.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and wet cleans independently.
• Assist senior engineers with corrective maintenance as needed.
• Disassemble, clean and rebuild kits as part of kit management quality.
• Apply diagnostic techniques and use test equipment with guidance.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical problems and follow best‑known methods (BKM’s).

Required profile

• Physically demanding role requiring extensive walking, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs, and work in tight spaces.
• Ability to work in a clean‑room environment using appropriate PPE such as coveralls, booties, safety glasses and respirators.
