Customer Services Officer

About the role

JLL is hiring a Customer Services Officer for an on-site position in Singapore. The officer is responsible and accountable for the performance and operations of customer service in the property, acting as the outward face of the organisation and representing it professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Be polite, courteous and firm with visitors, tenants and the public, and respond courteously by telephone and in person
• Welcome visitors and tenants warmly and convey the right information clearly
• Maintain security by knowing the surroundings, tenants and visitors, and handle complaints about incidents
• Handle A&P redemption programmes with proper documentation and keep track of incidents and share them with the team
• Assist Security Officers in registering visitors and issue visitor passes, which are used daily and must not be kept overnight
• Document lost and found items and hand them over to the designated department
• Investigate and resolve complex visitor issues such as lost building passes, and follow up on lost passes
• Carry out ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time

Required profile

• Minimum GCE O-Level and 1 year of relevant work experience
• Genuine aptitude for service-related work, pleasant personality and proactive, solution-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and with difficult customers
• Smartly dressed at all times, professional and not overly familiar with staff, contractors or visitors during duty

Required skills

• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Decorous telephone etiquette and great communication and interpersonal skills
• Other languages are a plus
