Customs Specialist – Export Documentation & Clearance

About the role

Manpower Singapore is seeking a Customs Specialist to manage export documentation and customs clearance for a manufacturing client. You will ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations while coordinating with freight forwarders, warehouses and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process export documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates and declarations.
• Coordinate export customs clearance activities and verify compliance with Singapore Customs rules.
• Monitor shipment schedules, arrange transportation and delivery, and maintain accurate records.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, factories and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Support audits, compliance reviews and continuous process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in export documentation, customs clearance or international trade operations.
• Good understanding of export declaration procedures and Singapore Customs regulations.
• Knowledge of HS Codes and trade compliance is a plus.
