Cutover and Readiness Manager – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

The Cutover and Readiness Manager will lead the planning, rehearsal and execution of wave‑based cutover activities for complex technology programmes. Reporting to the programme delivery lead, you will ensure seamless transition from project to business‑as‑usual operations across multiple value streams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and manage the wave delivery model, including scope boundaries, sequencing, entry/exit criteria and rehearsal cadence.
• Own integrated cutover plans and runbooks per wave and coordinate domain‑specific runbooks from value streams.
• Plan and execute cutover rehearsals; run the cutover command centre during execution windows.
• Drive operational readiness covering support model, monitoring, communications, incident triage and hyper‑care planning.
• Produce wave readiness packs and provide go/no‑go inputs based on cutover and operational readiness assessments.
• Ensure complete and measurable BAU handover with acceptance criteria, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Strong cutover/release management experience in complex tech environments.
• Comfortable leading high‑tempo execution windows and coordinating multiple teams.
• Solid understanding of service management and operations handover expectations.
