Cybersecurity Consultant / Manager – Risk Services

About the role

PwC's Risk Services team in its Assurance line of service is looking for a cybersecurity generalist to deliver security solutions and protect client systems and data. The role covers cybersecurity consulting and advisory engagements across several domains, and suits candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity strategy, governance and CISO advisory engagements
• Carry out technical security assessments such as threat modelling and security architecture reviews
• Advise on CII risk assessments, CCoP compliance, CTM, ISO 27001, data protection and security monitoring
• Take part in cloud security work such as architecture design and posture assessments
• Support emerging technology security and risk services, including "Security for AI" and "AI for Security"

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong foundation in cyber and information security concepts, with exposure to standards such as NIST CSF, CTM, ISO 27001 and MITRE ATT&CK
• Understanding of solutions such as DLP, CNAPP, NDR, EDR, PAM and AI guardrails
• Experience with M365, AWS and Azure
• A cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISA or CRISC is an advantage; prior experience in a professional services firm is highly advantageous
