Cybersecurity Consultant - Network Security

About the role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant specialized in Network Security to strengthen and protect the network infrastructure of a leading technology and telecommunications organisation in Singapore. You will work closely with internal teams to design, implement and maintain robust security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage network security solutions, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing and risk analysis on network assets.
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents and ensure timely remediation.
• Develop, update and enforce network security policies and best‑practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance requirements and mitigate security risks.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams on network security matters.
• Stay current with emerging threats, industry trends and relevant standards.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation on incidents and preventive measures.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of network security concepts and technologies.
• Proven experience in managing security incidents and conducting vulnerability assessments.
• Familiarity with industry security standards and compliance frameworks.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security) are advantageous.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
