Cybersecurity Testing Associate – Risk Services

About the role

Join PwC's Risk Services team as a Cybersecurity Testing Associate. You will work on cutting‑edge security projects, helping clients protect their digital assets and data while gaining hands‑on experience in penetration testing, red‑team operations, and security assessments.

Key responsibilities

• Penetration Testing – identify and exploit vulnerabilities to secure client assets and protect sensitive information.
• Red Teaming – simulate adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures to evaluate and improve organizational defenses.
• Cybersecurity Assessment – conduct host configuration reviews, source code reviews, architecture reviews, and overall risk assessments against industry benchmarks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive security recommendations and support client resilience.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology from a reputable university.
• Strong foundational knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity concepts.
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to develop a professional career in security testing.
• Excellent critical‑thinking, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Kali Linux, Covenant, Metasploit, nmap, Burp Suite.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Understanding of penetration testing, red‑team operations, and cybersecurity assessments.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CRT, or OSCP (advantage).
