Data Analyst Intern

About the role

Agents generate large volumes of data from each run, step, and failure recovery. Hidden within this data are insights about which agent behaviors succeed and where users encounter problems. As a Data Analyst Intern you will own analysis that shapes product decisions, working closely with product and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards that track product health metrics such as activation, retention, task success, and agent reliability.
• Analyze agent run data to identify where tasks fail, stall, or require human intervention.
• Answer product questions with data and acknowledge when data cannot provide answers.
• Help define and instrument the events and metrics that should be tracked from the start.
• Support experiment design and interpret results without overstating findings.
• Translate analysis into actionable recommendations with clear next steps.
• Make your work reproducible so others can build upon it.

Required profile

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent experience.
• Solid experience with SQL and comfortable using Python or R for analysis.
• Built a dashboard or analysis that was actually used by others.
• Understand the basics of experimentation and maintain healthy skepticism of noisy results.
• Can explain findings to stakeholders who may not read technical notebooks.
• Curious about the product beyond just the numbers.
