Data Analyst Internship – Operations & Change Management

About the role

PwC is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to join the Operations and Change Management team for a six‑month off‑cycle placement (January‑June 2027). Working closely with the IT department, you will help model, maintain and document the firm’s core SQL databases and turn raw data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Model objects within the core SQL database to support analytical and reporting needs.
• Maintain and update the data dictionary, ensuring accurate documentation of data assets.
• Document and monitor connections between the core database and upstream/downstream source systems.
• Perform ETL processes using SQL, Python or R to integrate data from internal and external sources.
• Automate data retrieval from external APIs to improve timeliness and reduce manual effort.
• Develop business intelligence dashboards in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Translate analytical findings and detected anomalies into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Curious and detail‑oriented with a strong interest in data analysis.
• Eager to translate raw data into clear, actionable insights.
• Enrolled in a relevant degree programme (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics).
