Data Engineer (MSfabric / Azure / SQL / Python / RestAPI / Bloomberg)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Investment Services client in Singapore. You will design, build and optimise scalable data pipelines on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, supporting critical investment, portfolio and risk analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse and OneLake.
• Build and maintain data lake, data warehouse and analytical data models for portfolio holdings, positions, security master, pricing, NAV, benchmarks and risk metrics.
• Integrate data from internal and external sources via REST APIs, SFTP and file‑based SQL interfaces, ensuring data quality, validation and governance.
• Optimise SQL queries and data processing performance across the platform.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions and support testing, deployment and production monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
• Strong background in Investment Management, Asset Management or Portfolio Management domains.
• Proven ability to work with complex investment data such as holdings, positions, pricing and risk analytics.
• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and communication skills.
