Data Governance Automation Specialist – Alteryx & Copilot Studio

About the role

ABeam Consulting seeks a Data Governance Automation Specialist to design and implement automated data pipelines and AI‑augmented reporting solutions using Alteryx and Microsoft Copilot Studio. The role involves close collaboration with data governance teams and clients across the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client data‑governance requirements and design fit‑for‑purpose automation solutions.
• Build, document, and test automated data pipelines in Alteryx, including ingestion, cleansing, validation and transformation.
• Design and deploy Copilot Studio agents to enable natural‑language queries and intelligent exception handling.
• Create data‑lineage documentation, flowcharts, technical specifications and reusable components.
• Configure Alteryx Server/Designer and Copilot Studio environments and integrate with data lakes, APIs and reporting platforms.
• Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT and provide post‑go‑live support.
• Provide training, develop demo environments and maintain a repository of use cases and case studies.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics or related engineering discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with Alteryx and Microsoft Copilot Studio (or comparable tools).
• Understanding of data lineage, data‑quality frameworks and regulatory reporting, especially in financial services.
• Experience with AI‑augmented workflows, RPA platforms (Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath) is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, R, PowerShell, JavaScript/Power Fx.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
