Data Protection Office Manager

About the role

Join PwC's Data Protection Office as a Manager to support the Data Protection Officer team in developing guidance, monitoring compliance, and safeguarding the firm’s data and reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing global and local data protection policies, leveraging technology for efficiency.
• Conduct privacy and data protection compliance reviews and address potential issues proactively.
• Investigate data incidents, provide advice, suggest remedial actions, and report to relevant parties.
• Review data protection controls in technology risk assessments for firm‑adopted solutions.
• Support legal and risk management processes, including contract negotiations related to privacy.
• Develop and deliver training material on data protection and privacy.
• Assist with periodic internal and external reporting and lead ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of risk‑related experience, with 2+ years in data privacy, protection or governance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project management skills.
• Effective communicator able to work with personnel at all levels.
• Resilient, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
