Data Remediation & Records Management Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Data Remediation & Records Management Analyst to join a large‑scale banking records remediation project. You will be responsible for inventorying physical banking files, validating data for GDPR compliance, and maintaining accurate records documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inventory and cataloguing of physical banking files across approximately 3,500 storage boxes.
• Review, classify, and validate records in line with GDPR, data‑privacy and internal policies.
• Identify data quality issues, duplicates or outdated records and perform remediation activities.
• Maintain tracking logs, inventories and documentation of remediation actions.
• Support implementation of records retention and secure disposal requirements.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on inventory progress and remediation status.
• Escalate compliance risks, data discrepancies and record‑management issues as needed.
• Assist in preparing project reports, audit evidence and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Records Management, Data Governance, Compliance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in records management, data remediation, data governance or related operational roles.
• Experience in banking, financial services or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Familiarity with GDPR and records‑retention regulations is advantageous.
