Data Science Senior Consultant (Healthcare)

About the role

PwC Southeast Asia Consulting is hiring a Data Science Senior Consultant within its Advisory practice, which covers the full spectrum of clients' digital capabilities from strategy to execution. The consultant acts as the link between complex business challenges and AI solutions, combining data analysis, statistical and mathematical modelling, software development and strategic consulting. The role is based in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in clients' businesses to understand their goals and turn insights into actionable data strategies
• Collect and analyse data to uncover patterns, generate insights and support hypothesis formulation
• Drive initiatives across business understanding, data comprehension and data preparation
• Apply advanced statistical and mathematical modelling to solve complex business problems, ensuring models are accurate, scalable and efficient
• Develop, validate and operationalise models by integrating them into applications and business processes
• Establish standards and policies so data is secure, private, accurate, accessible and actionable
• Support data management, migration, strategic planning, change management and compliance with policy and regulatory requirements

Required profile

• 5 to 8 years of data science experience, or other relevant experience in AI and analytics, with a proven track record of handling stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Past experience in healthcare is mandatory
• Comfortable working with statistics, strong business acumen and leadership skills

Required skills

• End-to-end AI project development with Python, Flask, FastAPI and Streamlit
• Azure cloud services to deploy AI products
• Machine learning, deep learning and generative AI (e.g. GANs, VAEs)
• Frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and GenAI libraries such as HuggingFace, LangChain and RAGAS
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel
