Data Scientist (Project Lead)

About the role

Flintex Consulting is seeking a proactive Data Scientist to lead end‑to‑end AI/ML projects. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of Data Science and AI/ML projects, from problem definition to deployment and handover.
• Engage with business stakeholders to capture requirements, challenges, and expected outcomes.
• Translate business needs into clear project scope, deliverables, tasks, and success criteria.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, Developers, and Technical Leads to deliver practical AI/ML solutions.
• Track project timelines, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate user testing, production readiness, deployment, and operational handover.
• Present progress, technical findings, and outcomes to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Maintain project documentation, approvals, and stakeholder sign‑offs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering Data Science/AI projects, technical business analysis, or technical project management.
• Proven experience managing AI/ML or data‑driven projects from requirements through production deployment.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with cross‑functional technical teams.
