Deals Advisory – M&A Operations Experienced Associate / Senior Associate

About the role

Join PwC's Deals Advisory practice as an Experienced Associate (or Senior Associate) focused on M&A Operations. You will work within the Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team, helping clients maximise value across the full deal lifecycle – from pre‑deal due diligence to post‑deal integration and exit.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management of multiple client engagements, reporting to managers and senior leaders.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with private‑equity investors, corporate C‑suite executives and other key stakeholders.
• Participate in business development activities to identify and research new opportunities.
• Lead and contribute to pre‑deal due diligence, synergy assessment, and post‑deal integration activities.
• Execute carve‑out, post‑merger integration, finance and operations process‑improvement projects.
• Conduct financial and business due diligence and review business plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable university.
• 1‑3 years of experience in M&A, divestitures, or related deal work.
• Hands‑on experience with pre‑deal due diligence, integration planning, separation planning, and post‑deal transformation.
• Strong understanding of operating models, products and services.
• Experience with business or data migrations is a plus.
