Dental Assistant / Senior Dental Assistant

About the role

Join a reputable dental practice in Singapore as a Dental Assistant or Senior Dental Assistant. You will work closely with dentists to ensure smooth patient flow and high‑quality clinical support in a busy Orchard Road clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Share patient care information and post‑treatment instructions provided by the dentist.
• Assist the dentist during procedures by passing instruments and supporting patient care.
• Prepare and set up treatment areas, ensuring trays, materials and equipment are ready before each patient.
• Take and process dental diagnostic X‑rays.
• Support lab‑related tasks such as case tracking, casting, impressions and retainer fabrication.
• Check, pack and sterilize instruments and instrument sets according to infection‑control standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of dental chairs, equipment, work surfaces and instruments.
• Ensure clinic rooms have sufficient sterile instruments for daily use.
• Assist in receiving and managing patient feedback and report any equipment issues promptly.
• Support inventory management using FIFO method and notify when supplies run low.
• Perform other ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the manager.

Required profile

• Minimum N level / O level qualification.
• At least 1 year experience as a dental assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilisation methods.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Good computer skills.
• Proficiency in Chinese is advantageous for communicating with Chinese‑speaking clients.
