Deputy/Assistant Manager – Bus Infrastructure Development

About the role

Play a pivotal role in transforming our public transport landscape by spearheading the development of bus infrastructure, including integrated transport hubs, bus interchanges and bus depots. Working alongside government agencies, planners, technical professionals, and public transport operators, you will lead the strategic planning, review, and development of critical bus infrastructure projects that will shape the future of public transport in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Planning and Site Assessment – Collaborate with planners and agencies to identify suitable sites, assess commuter connectivity, and determine traffic improvements needed for comprehensive coverage.
• Project Management and Design Oversight – Lead project timelines, conduct design reviews, coordinate with developers and contractors, and ensure designs are operationally sound and user‑friendly.
• Stakeholder Coordination and Funding – Secure funding approvals, prepare tender documents, and engage with public transport operators and other stakeholders to meet operational and maintenance requirements.

Required profile

• Knowledge in Engineering or Project Management, typically demonstrated through a relevant degree or professional experience.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication excellence, leadership abilities and compelling presentation skills.
• High accountability, initiative and resourceful problem‑solving capabilities, thriving both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
