About the role

We are looking for a proactive Desktop Support Engineer to join ITCAN PTE. LIMITED on a contract basis. You will provide end‑to‑end technical assistance across Singapore, ensuring users’ hardware and software environments run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware or software systems.
Consult users via phone, in‑person or online chat to understand and troubleshoot problems.
Identify when system reconfiguration is required and implement the changes.
Assess user needs and recommend solutions such as patches, upgrades or enhancements.
Document support procedures and maintain accurate customer records.
Respond promptly to queries and provide guidance on installation, maintenance and usage of technical systems.
Perform complete on‑site installations, including data backup, system upgrades, and installation of new software or hardware.

Required profile

Executive level experience in desktop support or related IT services.
Ability to work islandwide across Singapore, interacting with users in various settings.
