Desktop Support Engineer (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Desktop Support Engineer to provide first‑line support for Microsoft 365 users in both Japanese and English. You will join a dynamic IT team in Singapore, handling incidents, service requests, and routine administration while ensuring a smooth experience for native Japanese users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑user support for Microsoft 365 applications in Japanese and English.
• Log, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests, escalating when necessary.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and configuration changes across the M365 environment.
• Automate and perform operational tasks using PowerShell scripts.
• Create and maintain tickets, documenting steps and resolutions in ITSM tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Develop and update knowledge articles, SOPs, and FAQs.

Required profile

• IT Diploma or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in desktop or Microsoft 365 support.
• Fluent in spoken and written Japanese and English.
• Willingness to work 24 × 7 shift rotations, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD).
• PowerShell scripting for administration and automation.
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Zendesk or Dynamics 365.
