Developer Experience Engineer – AI Platform

About the role

Google DeepMind is looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to champion developer success across its generative AI product suite. You will act as the bridge between product, engineering, research and the global developer community, helping shape tools, resources and launch strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain high‑quality developer resources such as code samples, documentation, tutorials, and SDKs.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence feature design and ensure smooth product launches.
• Engage with external developers through technical outreach, community events, and open‑source contributions.
• Build MVPs and prototype integrations using Python, REST APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Provide feedback from the developer ecosystem to drive product improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years in a technical role such as software engineering, AI engineering, or solutions consulting.
• Proven experience working in an external‑facing or developer‑focused capacity.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
