DevOps Engineer – Cloud & CI/CD Platform

About the role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain our multi‑cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platform. You will work across Azure and AWS environments, ensuring reliability, security and cost efficiency while supporting product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure and networking components in Azure and AWS.
• Manage and enhance central CI/CD tooling ecosystem (GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube, etc.).
• Automate provisioning, configuration and deployment using Terraform, Ansible or similar IaC tools.
• Monitor, secure and optimise pipelines and cloud resources for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with security, networking and application teams to ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues affecting the CI/CD platform.
• Contribute to best‑practice standards and platform scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Support general platform enquiries and contribute to the Northstar/DP Programme.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Engineering.
• Strong proficiency with Azure and/or AWS services (compute, storage, networking).
• Hands‑on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and at least one enterprise‑grade platform (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Linux administration, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and network troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency in scripting or programming (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go).
