DevOps Engineer

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its global technology transformation teams. You will work on building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure, and ensuring the reliability of cloud‑based services.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines with streamlined change and release management.
• Maintain tools for configuration management, build, continuous integration, deployment, reporting, and monitoring.
• Implement and operate monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Write scripts to automate server, CI/CD, and related tasks.
• Participate in capacity planning and risk management.
• Explore new DevOps approaches to improve production reliability and availability.
• Apply security practices that meet organizational standards.
• Collaborate in high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of DevOps engineering experience plus 1‑2 years as a software or system engineer.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, networking, and cloud concepts.
• Experience with production deployments, IaC best practices, and Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK/OpenSearch.
• Ability to troubleshoot highly scalable distributed systems.
• Good communication skills and experience working in SCRUM teams.
