DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Activate Interactive, a technology consultancy in Singapore, is hiring a DevSecOps Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role covers designing, automating and maintaining secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure and deployment pipelines, while integrating security into the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and tooling for build, test, integration and release
• Implement infrastructure-as-code and environment automation, and manage cloud resources and platform services
• Monitor and optimise platform availability, performance, reliability and operational health
• Implement security controls, threat and risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, hardening, security reviews and remediation
• Plan, implement and monitor disaster recovery, backup and business continuity measures
• Investigate and resolve system, application and infrastructure issues, and work with developers to embed security throughout the SDLC

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, TDD and DevSecOps practices
• Experience designing, deploying and supporting cloud-native applications and infrastructure on AWS; GCC environment experience is advantageous
• Proficiency in at least two scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python, JavaScript or Java)
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, security assessments, hardening and remediation
• Experience in regulated or government environments preferred

• CNCF tools (Prometheus, Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Gatekeeper, Crossplane) and secrets management tools (Vault, Tenable, Fortify, Nexus IQ, AWS security services)
• AWS IAM, networking, monitoring, container and security services
