Digital Project Engineer

About the role

The Digital Project Engineer will support and coordinate the implementation of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM), Internet of Things (IoT) and digital application projects across multiple sites in Singapore. Acting as the central liaison between technology vendors, clients and FM operations teams, the role ensures digital solutions are deployed, tested and handed over with minimal disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site activities for Smart FM, IoT and digital application implementation projects, including surveys, installation requirements, work schedules and site readiness.
• Work closely with site teams and vendors to ensure safe and on‑schedule completion of implementation activities.
• Monitor project progress, flag delays, technical issues or operational constraints, and manage testing, commissioning, user acceptance and system handover.
• Liaise with technology vendors, system integrators and contractors, review technical proposals, implementation plans and method statements, and resolve technical and installation issues.
• Engage clients and internal FM operations teams to capture operational requirements, translate them into clear vendor specifications and minimise disruption to ongoing FM operations.
• Support the rollout of digital applications such as FM platforms, mobile apps, inspection systems, dashboards and workflow solutions, including user account setup, configuration, data validation and first‑level issue coordination.

Required profile

• Experience coordinating digital or IoT projects in a facilities management or similar environment.
• Strong ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including vendors, clients and on‑site operations teams.
• Proven track record of managing site surveys, installation logistics and safety compliance.
• Capability to monitor project timelines, identify issues early and drive resolution.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Smart Facilities Management concepts and IoT technologies.
• Familiarity with digital application deployment, user acceptance testing and system handover processes.
