Digital Project Manager

About the role

Make Studios is seeking a Digital Project Manager to lead the delivery of interactive digital experiences for museums, exhibitions, events and visitor attractions. You will coordinate the full project lifecycle from briefing through design, development, testing, deployment and hand‑over, ensuring seamless integration of software, hardware and multimedia content.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and monitor digital projects, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, milestones and dependencies.
• Break projects into workstreams, maintain implementation plans, risk registers and status reports.
• Coordinate multiple concurrent projects, manage scope, timeline and cost changes, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Work closely with developers to understand technical requirements, risks and integration points for HTML5 applications, Unity games, websites and touchscreen kiosks.
• Oversee hardware integration, networking, and on‑site installation of devices such as sensors, RFID/NFC readers, cameras, printers and lighting systems.
• Manage testing, staging and production environments, and coordinate software releases, updates and bug fixes.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and handling issue resolution.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of digital project lifecycles, from concept to support, without needing to code.
• Comfortable discussing multimedia software development, system architecture, hardware dependencies and troubleshooting with technical teams.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
