Digital Tax Business Analyst / Developer (Experienced)

About the role

PwC’s Digital Tax team is looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Developer to help clients transform tax processes through data‑driven solutions. You will work at the intersection of tax expertise and technology, creating predictive models and analytics that turn complex tax data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to demonstrate the value of data through analytics and visualisation.
• Develop predictive modelling, statistical, data‑mining and machine‑learning techniques to extract insights from tax data.
• Mine and analyse data sources to design new product offerings or optimise existing tax‑related products and strategies.
• Build, maintain and apply predictive or LLM models to assess business risk, improve user experience and support risk‑mitigation strategies.
• Manage end‑to‑end projects, clarifying requirements and defining research approaches.
• Stay informed on current business and industry trends relevant to tax technology.

Required profile

• Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics or Mathematics.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience in data analytics, preferably within a financial or professional services environment.
• Experience developing end‑to‑end analytical solutions and applying statistical techniques.
