About the role

PwC is seeking a Data Scientist intern to support its Digital Tax team. The role focuses on applying generative AI and advanced data analysis to help tax professionals derive insights and improve decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and apply generative AI models and other data‑analysis techniques to collect, explore and extract insights from tax‑related data.
• Assist with risk‑management administrative tasks, communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage end‑to‑end project components, clarifying requirements and designing research approaches.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI.
• Familiarity with big‑data processing and machine‑learning techniques.
• Knowledge of numerical programming frameworks for statistical analysis.
