Digital Verification Lead - Optical Control ICs

About the role

Analog Devices is looking for an experienced, results-driven Verification Lead in Singapore to lead verification execution for Optical Control ICs targeting AI datacenter and cloud infrastructure applications. The role owns verification strategy, execution and delivery across block, chip and system levels, leads a team of verification engineers and works closely with digital design, analog/mixed-signal, firmware and system teams to achieve first-pass silicon success.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own end-to-end verification strategy from architecture phase through tape-out and post-silicon support, including scope, coverage strategy, assertion plan and sign-off criteria.
• Drive adoption of coverage-driven verification methodologies and act as the verification authority on key technical and quality decisions.
• Own verification execution for one or more projects, including schedule planning, milestone tracking, risk assessment and mitigation, and serve as the main verification interface to project management.
• Identify integration and system-level risks early and ensure deliverables are high quality and on schedule.
• Lead, mentor and develop the verification team, allocate resources, support hiring and onboarding, and foster ownership and collaboration.
• Architect and review C/UVM-based verification environments, take part in debug and root-cause analysis, and support post-silicon validation and bring-up.

Required profile

• B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in digital verification of complex SoCs, with ownership of major subsystems or full-chip verification.
• Proven experience leading verification projects and/or managing engineers, including schedule ownership and cross-team coordination.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, able to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced AI datacenter product environment.

Required skills

• SystemVerilog and UVM, including environment architecture, sequences, scoreboards, assertions and coverage.
• Functional coverage, code coverage and verification sign-off.
• Familiarity with AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB) and processor-based SoC verification.
• Mixed-signal verification experience is highly desirable; AI-assisted tools knowledge is a plus.
• C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Tcl or shell scripting.
