Director, Business Services IT Procurement

About the role

DePuy Synthes is recruiting a Director, Business Services IT Procurement, a hybrid position primarily based in Singapore. The role leads global procurement for Business Services categories such as Fleet, Travel & Meetings, Human Resource Services, Corporate Services, Professional Education & Access and Information Technology, and also leads Business Engagement across international markets. It sits within the Procurement function, under Multi-Family Procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Own the global category strategy, sourcing, supplier performance and continuous improvement for Business Services and IT categories, covering a spend base of approximately $0.XB.
• Develop multi-year category roadmaps using market intelligence, demand analytics and total cost of ownership (TCO) modelling.
• Execute sourcing, competitive bidding, negotiations, contracting, implementation and supplier transition, and drive performance against financial, service, reliability, quality, risk, sustainability and stakeholder targets.
• Partner with Business Engagement Leads, Global Services, Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Risk/Compliance and Service Delivery on sourcing, contracting and requisition-to-pay.
• Build relationships with strategic suppliers and manage supplier performance and innovation.
• Manage a portfolio of procurement initiatives, escalate supplier risk, compliance and service disruption issues, and oversee policies and SOPs.
• Lead and develop a global procurement team, coach leaders and build organisational capability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement, including global category management and large-scale spend management.
• Experience in a product-oriented, sales/marketing-driven culture and in a large multinational environment; experience transforming global procurement organisations.
• Proven supplier negotiation skills and ability to influence executive stakeholders.
