Director, Customer Engineer (Services)

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Director, Customer Engineer (Services) to lead the service organization for its semiconductor and display equipment in Singapore. The role is responsible for overall customer satisfaction, financial performance and strategic delivery of high‑value solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all business issues across the account site, including customer satisfaction, P&L, and budget management.
• Serve as the primary interface to the site account for operational and service commitments, ensuring delivery of service commitments.
• Maintain a workforce with the skills and capabilities required to meet current and future customer service needs.
• Lead employee development, satisfaction, and retention initiatives.

Required profile

• Broad and comprehensive understanding of systems, theories and industry practices.
• Strong commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance across the business unit.
• Proven leadership ability to influence senior executives, negotiate at senior level, and guide managers.
