Director, Financial Crime Product & Centre of Excellence Lead

About the role

Mastercard is establishing a new Asia‑Pacific Centre of Excellence (COE) for financial crime solutions. The Director will lead product strategy, commercialization and thought‑leadership initiatives to protect governments, financial institutions, e‑commerce platforms and other digital players from fraud, scams and money‑laundering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the AP go‑to‑market strategy for Mastercard’s financial crime suite.
• Build and nurture partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions and digital ecosystem players.
• Drive product adoption, performance tracking and budget forecasting across the region.
• Produce white papers, narratives and external communications to position Mastercard as a trusted advisor.
• Represent Mastercard at regional forums, industry events and policy dialogues.
• Lead the COE’s thought‑leadership agenda, industry engagement and innovation road‑maps.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in financial crime, fraud prevention or related product domains.
• Strong track record of developing and commercialising complex solutions in the Asia‑Pacific market.
• Excellent stakeholder management and partnership‑building skills with public and private sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to influence policy and industry standards.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication capabilities.
