Director, Financial Institutions FX Sales

About the role

The Director, Financial Institutions FX Sales will lead the expansion of ANZ's FX distribution franchise across both flow and non‑flow products. Reporting to the Head of FX Investor Sales in Singapore, you will work closely with trading, syndication and relationship teams to deliver tailored FX solutions to institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve FX revenue and business growth targets across sovereign wealth funds, central banks, real‑money investors and leveraged funds.
• Build and deepen strategic client relationships, increasing wallet share and positioning ANZ as a trusted FX partner.
• Collaborate with Sales, Trading, Relationship Managers, Research and Syndication teams to enhance client outcomes.
• Originate and deliver customised FX and related financial products.
• Support the overall Markets strategy and contribute to the growth of the FX franchise.
• Maintain strong risk and compliance standards, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Implement front‑office controls to minimise operational and transactional risk.
• Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering high performance and cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Extensive investor sales experience within institutional FX markets.
• Deep knowledge of sovereign wealth funds, central banks and other large institutional investors.
• Proven track record of generating revenue and growing client relationships.
• Strong understanding of risk, compliance and limit management in a banking environment.
