Director, Loan Syndications

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Director for its Loan Syndications team to lead origination, structuring and distribution of syndicated loan products across the Asia‑Pacific region.

Key responsibilities

• Driving origination of new syndicated loan mandates across a portfolio of existing and target customers.
• Providing insight, ideas and solutions to customers for their varied financing needs.
• Proactively targeting event‑driven financing opportunities and developing thorough underwriting proposals.
• Leading deal teams to ensure transactions reach financial close efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
• Representing ANZ in the market, building and maintaining strong investor and client relationships, and expanding the investor pool.
• Guiding and supporting less‑experienced team members.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in loan syndications with strong Asia‑Pacific market networks.
• Deep understanding of debt structuring, facility documentation and negotiation.
• Strong marketing and presentation skills to originate new transactions.
• Proven deal leadership and ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management capabilities.
