Director / MD, Senior Private Banker - International Clients

About the role

Citi is looking for a Director / Managing Director, Senior Private Banker covering international clients, based in Singapore. The role is a senior, subject-matter expert position that acts as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth clients, building long-term relationships and shaping the firm's approach to international private banking.

Key responsibilities

• Identify international client prospects, convert them into clients booked in Singapore, and build long-term relationships with client families across generations
• Act as a trusted advisor, anticipating events in clients' lives and businesses that have significant financial implications
• Manage client expectations, understand client goals and risk tolerance, and bring product experts together to design tailored solutions for investment, risk management and liquidity needs
• Set challenging goals, monitor progress and adjust plans, while planning daily, weekly and monthly activities to grow revenue and client satisfaction
• Build a referral network, close deals appropriately, and help team members gain credibility with clients and intermediaries
• Partner with Business Partners, colleagues and support groups, escalate issues quickly, and ensure seamless execution of internal processes and Citigroup services
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, flag improper transactions, and uphold the firm's reputation and ethical standards

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience
• Extensive, proven experience in private banking, including the international UHNW market
• Experience working with and/or leading client teams and transactions
• Demonstrated track record in relationship selling
• Bachelor's degree; Master's degree preferred
