About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Director People & Culture to lead the human resources function for a prominent organisation in Singapore. This pivotal role is designed for someone who thrives on shaping people strategy, driving HR operational excellence, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all HR functions, ensuring seamless delivery of people services.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive people and culture agenda focused on engagement, wellness, employee experience, and values‑aligned behaviours.
• Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business goals and deliver commercially focused people solutions.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design, headcount management and manpower budgeting in collaboration with finance.
• Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment, performance management, succession planning and learning & development programmes.

Required profile

• A degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration; postgraduate or professional HR qualifications are advantageous.
• 10‑15 years of broad HR experience, including at least five years in a senior leadership role within complex service‑oriented or education environments.
• Proven expertise in workforce planning, organisation design, performance management, learning & development, succession planning, recruitment and compensation & benefits.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore employment legislation (MOM) and experience handling complex employee‑relations matters.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in manpower budgeting and data‑driven HR analytics.
